A quick, fun read I liked this one the best of the three books so far in the 13th Reality series The story moved faster and was darker than the first two books, so even though it is marketed as a children s book I would rather my children be at least 12 before reading it because there were some intense scenes The ending has closure for some, but not all, of the characters, so you will have to read the next book to get to the real ending.

I enjoy James Dashner as an author I greatly liked the previous two books in this series, but this one not so much The story wasn t as interesting and seemed drawn out I will read the 4th book when it comes out because I would like to know what happens to Tick, but if there is another one after that I m not sure Authors seem to draw out a story so much so they can writebooks I understand that this is their primary way of making a living.but when you string the story out so long ju I enjoy James Dashner as an author I greatly liked the previous two books in this series, but this one not so much The story wasn t as interesting and seemed drawn out I will read the 4th book when it comes out because I would like to know what happens to Tick, but if there is another one after that I m not sure Authors seem to draw out a story so much so they can writebooks I understand that this is their primary way of making a living.but when you string the story out so long just to keep readers buying an extra 5 books it doesn t seem fair I also agree with some of the other posters about the degree of violence in this book It has definitely escalated and is very specific in descriptions of killing creatures Yes, they aren t humans, but does that ultimately matter This series is geared towards eleven year olds, but I know that I wouldn t let my children read it until they were older than that

The story lacks something I didn t feel attracted to it anyI don t know why I didn t like this book I felt it dragging on and on, until I thought it won t finish There was probably few nice and exciting things, but they were spread out thin and didn t last for long Sato was an important charachter in this book, that s a nice change But I don t remember Sofia or Paul to be as important in it And what s with the Soliken I m not even sure of the spelling I didn t understand what it The story lacks something I didn t feel attracted to it anyI don t know why I didn t like this book I felt it dragging on and on, until I thought it won t finish There was probably few nice and exciting things, but they were spread out thin and didn t last for long Sato was an important charachter in this book, that s a nice change But I don t remember Sofia or Paul to be as important in it And what s with the Soliken I m not even sure of the spelling I didn t understand what it meant no matter how many times I reread the explanation in the book The Heance as well I just didn t like this whole idea.In general the story feels far from science or logic now, and that s what I hated the most I don t think I will read the next book any time soon

There are many things I like about this book and series, but this book seemed to drag a little for me Mistress Jane is a character who most often is past feeling She doesn t care the harm she causes It took a little too long to learn why Tick is who he is.

This book is definitely targeted toward a younger audience, but the story is still great I m a little annoyed that James Dashner switched over and wrote the Maze trilogy instead of finishing this out It s been quite a wait between books It seems like there s been a plague lately of writers biting offthan they can chew and then dragging their heels to finish the story Or worse, they robotically churn it out and the sequels stink Can someone please write a book that begins and ends in a This book is definitely targeted toward a younger audience, but the story is still great I m a little annoyed that James Dashner switched over and wrote the Maze trilogy instead of finishing this out It s been quite a wait between books It seems like there s been a plague lately of writers biting offthan they can chew and then dragging their heels to finish the story Or worse, they robotically churn it out and the sequels stink Can someone please write a book that begins and ends in a single novel The amazing thing about writing is you never run out of fiction If you finish one story line, I m sure there will be something new a fictional character can face in a sequel But back to this book The characters have evolved significantly with each book It would be interesting to go back and read The Journal of Curious Letters and see if the kids are even similar to their current depictions I liked how this story unraveled, and there are some complex issues I want to readabout in book 4.My life is not different because I read this book, but now that I ve started, I want to finish Are there going to be 13 books I hope not
