I waited for this book forever, but the reviews are in and I m gonna pass It pains me to say it, but I think I m officially done with KA I heard this turned into a Honey Series crossover catastrophe poor Rush, you deserved better and I don t want ...

3 3.5 stars This is such a hard book for me to rate review, so I ll keep it short and sweet There was a lot about this book I really loved I love the brotherhood of Chaos I always will This series will hold a special space in my heart always I mean, Walk Through Fire is one of my favorite books ever I also loved Rush and Rebel s love story I feel like I ve been waiting for Rush for FOREVER And there lies the biggest problem for me I wanted Rush s story I didn t want Rush getting half the book and a dozen other characters getting the rest of the book view spoiler The Honey crossover, so much Benito and I hate the way that turned out, like for real it hurt my heart, and a side romance between Beck...

I am done The divorce is final I went into this with LOW expectations, and it even managed to fall under those This book was SOOO long not a surprise but good lord there was SO much pointless shit and POVS I wanted Rush s story But he and Rebel took a HUGE backseat to all the Chaos drama On a positive side note, the sex scenes between him and Rebel weren t cheesy b grade porn in this one, so there was that Then we have KA reducing Benito the evil mastermind of several books into a bisexual submissive al the honey series I meanseriously Beck Throttle gets redeemed I ll be honestI sort of liked this storyline because I still HATE Rosalie and think she deserved her beatdown for being a snitch lol But hold on to your hats people because we get another redemption, the stupidest redemption EVERNaomi That s rightN A O M I of all people Oy vay Last, the ending was a HUGE letdown THAT was an epilogue NO..that was a lamesigh.Gaah, so I don t sound like a total bitch there were some thi...

Open Letter To Kristen Ashley,I don t know that this review will reach you or anybody through the impressive number of mystifying 5 star reviews, but I have to make the attempt.I ll begin with a few questions for your consideration What were you thinking For a book allegedly about Rush and Rebel, there wasn t much about Rush and Rebel Did it never occur to you that Beck s redemption was a waste of page time for this book and actually would have made a far interesting book on its own Writing a spin off novella book within a book is an interesting concept, but ultimately a waste of resources I would have paid to read his redemption story, but I feel vaguely hostile that I read it here Beck was interesting than Rush Shame on you for that.Free was allegedly the last of the Chaos series Why was the club relegated to the bench Why weren t they doing the heavy lifting Does the overuse of crossover come from cynicism, desperation, or just plain laziness Don t get me wrong, crossovers can be fun and satisfying when done well Free was not a good example, though It was even worse than The Time in Between and that was ridiculous Did Sixx really need to be the heroine of this story Really Or was her presence an attempt to drum up sales for the Honey series At some point, you may need to accept...

2 Stars with lots of skimming Boy, this book s a mess There was so much going on and so many POVs that Rush s story got lost in the mix I can t believe I m saying this but I ve lost faith in Kristen Ashley as a storyteller It s also become obvious she trying her hand in the BDSM m m genres and that s cool I have no doubt she ll be good at it But, my goodness, stay FOCUSED on the series, characters and genre the current book is about for heaven s sake Why her Honey series characters got almost as much page time ok, that s a bit exaggerated but not by much as her Chaos characters is baffling and beyond me This aspect of the book felt out of place and a bit manipulative Oh, and don t get me started with the whole Benito plotline disaster That said, I did enjoy parts of this book I loved the relationship between Rush and his girl It was true KA rom...

IT S LIVE READ MY REVIEW ON THE BLOG You know, when you read the last The End of a beloved series it s always with both sadness and joy.Free is the phenomenal conclusion to the Chaos series by Kristen Ashley and has pretty much an all cast from Dream Man, Chaos, a little Honey and Unfinished Heroes Heads up this book can t be read as a standalone The sheer amount of POVs will leave anyone, who hasn t read the previous books in this series, completely lost While I usually don t like jumping between so many multiple viewpoints, it didn t bother me in this story because I knew all the characters.Cole Rush Allen is a chip off the old block He is in most ways a carbon copy of his dad, maybe a little easy going But everything I loved about Tack I also love about Rush his protective nature, his open adoration for his woman, how he looks out for her, his bossiness, his integrity, his humorI could go on for a while You re lucky you re a great fuck I grinned And got great hair, he went on I grinned bigger And fantastic legs My grin got seriously toothy And beautiful cheekbones That surprised me Beautiful cheekbones Another sigh Baby, you pretty much got beautiful everything, which means I m fucked So it s probably no surprise when I say he has joined the ranks of Tate, Tack and Luke, who are my top favorite Kristen Ashley male characters He falls for Rebel...

I am probably going to have to go into WITSEC after I post this as the KA 5 star posse will be after me.So many things went wrong.Motorcycle Man, the one that got it all rolling, Fire Inside, the craziest, Ride Steady, the sweetest, and Walk Through Fire, the angstiest all had one thing in common Okay, two The most important thing is the primary story centered around the give and take, push and pull, angsty rollercoaster of a couple FALLING IN LOVE with a secondary side story about crazy Benito, the evil mastermind of Denver that the combined forces of CHAOS and Denver s hunkiest can not bring down. Here we have a heroine who s so fiesty that she becomes a porn director for Benito to find out what happened to her dead friend Yeah, okay, but most importantly she s a ground breaking, classy porn director with great hair and long legs.Fill in the KA blank Eye roll Yes, I am judging Rush, and I m going to commit a sacrilege here, has always seemed kind of boring to me especially after Tack, Joker, Hap Elvira So his first date invitation to the h to come over and pack...

1.5 STARSI went against my better instincts and decided to read this since I ve been wanting Rush s books forever even though I haven t enjoyed two of the most recent KA books And now that I ve read it, I m at a total loss for words.Let s explain it this way. Before reading Freeand afterAre there readers out there that loved this book Absolutely Was I one of them Yeahno. The last time I was this disappointed in a Kristen Ashley book, I was reading The Promise And you know what She Frankie and Benny d Rush s book I lost interest somewhere at the 40% mark and skimmed my way to the end I m so disappointed that I couldn t even bring myself to rate this But after much deliberation, I d give a generous 1 star for having Rush in the book, and another half a star for the few chapters that we actually got his story As for the rest What I can tell you, is this was NOT Rush s book It just wasn t If it was, it should have been a novella for all the story he got It was an extremely unsatisfying conclusion for one of my most awaited characters, and I don t even know how I feel about it It s like KA threw shit at the wall just to see what sticks Horse shit Dog shit All of the shit that just completely takes away from the main story and does absolutely nothing to make the book better in the end It only left my head spinning and beyond annoyed.I m not going to go into all the reasons that this book didn t work for...
