Book 5 Love Notes Collection Series This is the first book in the series by this author She is one of the 3 authors that wrote the collection Series really isn t the appropriate word since these stories do not tie together other than the first 3 that Marcia Lynn McClure wrote I liked this author much better than Sherry Ann Miller whose stories tend to have a darker side but I did not like her as much as I like Marcia Lynn McClure One thing that endeared this story to me was learning that it Book 5 Love Notes Collection Series This is the first book in the series by this author She is one of the 3 authors that wrote the collection Series really isn t the appropriate word since these stories do not tie together other than the first 3 that Marcia Lynn McClure wrote I liked this author much better than Sherry Ann Miller whose stories tend to have a darker side but I did not like her as much as I like Marcia Lynn McClure One thing that endeared this story to me was learning that it is based on the true story of the author s grandparentsProduct Description With that one waltz, Hannah almost came to believe that Ephraim Marston took her seriously that she wasthan a little girl tripping him up and irritating him With the way he fixed his eyes upon hers and held her in his arms, she felt like a woman for the first time in her life, and a confidence that she d never known filled her soul Then, as if a storm brewed within him, Ephraim s expression grew worrisome The music stopped, he mumbled his thanks, turned and exited the ballroom, leaving Hannah standing there wondering what she had done to set him off this time

Romantic passion and history make a great readBased on the story of the author s ancestors, this is a warm, sweet, and hard to put down story of Hannah and her choice between obeying her father or marrying the man she loved and who cherished her, but who did not meet her father s approval What will it take to soften her father s hard heart and mend her own If you need a good escape book, look no farther.

This was cute and predictable It reminded me of Where the Heart Leads by Anita Stansfield, but closer, stylistically, to Marcia Lynn McClure This was cute and predictable It reminded me of Where the Heart Leads by Anita Stansfield, but closer, stylistically, to Marcia Lynn McClure
